David Wolfe

David is one of the fashion industry's most quoted authorities, having earned international credentials as a fashion, color and trend forecaster. A lifelong love of art, beauty and design led him from a small-town department store in Ohio to a whirlwind international career as a fashion illustrator for Vogue, Women's Wear Daily and the London Times. David made the jump from illustrator to seer as Creative Director of I.M. International, one of the world¹s first forecasting firms, and in the early 1980s, he founded The Fashion Service in London, which he ran for a decade before joining The Doneger Group in 1990. Whether trend-spotting, forecasting, reporting or lecturing, David has helped shape the company's predictive division with wit and personality. His keen intuition and entertaining delivery keep him in demand as a public speaker, and his live presentations at The Doneger Group offices are standing room only season after season. David recently found an online forum for his musings on style, entertainment and the cultural pulse at large with his new blog, What's With Wolfe.
