Junior Computer Support & Web Development Technician
The Doneger Group, a premier fashion consulting company, is seeking a Computer Support & Development Technician to join its support team. The candidate should have no more than 2 years of hands-on technical support and web development experience, strong communication skills, the ability to interact with all types of personalities and a sincere dedication to customer service.
Job Responsibilities and Requirements:
The position is for a Junior member of the technology team who will be responsible for assisting with desktop support calls and web development projects.
The candidate should have the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced creative environment and an eagerness to learn new skills.
This position offers a great deal of opportunity to learn and to work with all aspects of technology across infrastructure and web development throughout the company.
Requirements:
- Microsoft Office 2000-2003 - strong PowerPoint and Outlook strongly desired
- Experience troubleshooting and repairing all aspects of Windows XP Operating System
- General equipment installation, configuration and troubleshooting
- Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite of products, especially Photoshop
- Experience with XHTML/CSS coding
- Some experience with ASP, JavaScript and XML
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
Pluses:
- Basic knowledge of Windows 2003 Active Directory and Account Setup
- Understanding of and basic experience setting Windows NTFS permissions
- Experience working with a CMS system
- Some experience with Quark
- Some experience with MAC
Education and Experience:
- No more than two years of experience in a similar environment
- B.S. Computer Science
