Featured trend reporters, Nola Weinstein of Glam Media and fashion consulting group The Doneger Group, saw the trends unfolding in real-time:
Weinstein, Fashion Editorial Director at Glam Media, gave us her reactions post-show, saying, "For Spring 2010 Donna Karan went straight to the elements with diaphanous looks. The collection was quite atmospheric with sky blue, cloudy white, fiery red, pumice gray and blush floating by. Models looked angelic in ethereal creations that possessed a certain lightness to them. Overall this season feels like a cool breeze with a dominant aquatic influence. (We also loved the ivory chain link necklaces)."
The Doneger Group, an industry leader in fashion trends, tweeted out post-show, "@TheDonegerGroup: Donna Karan Collection - texture, bright coral with sandy neutrals. #nyfw"
